-  Which people may be sent to the Center ?

The Minkowska Center welcomes adults and children who seem to have psychiatric or psychological disorders. The patient has the possibility to speak in his/her mother tongue.

-  What kinds of care are offered by the Center ?

The Center offers medical, psychological and social consultations provided by eight pluri-linguistic and pluri-disciplinary teams.

-  How do I make an appointment ?

Appointments are taken over the phone with the secretary of each consultation team. Please refer to the list in the "Centre Minkowska" section.

-  Is consulting free of charge ?

The consulting is free. It is taken in charge by the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs.

-  When is the Centre open ?

The Centre is open Monday to Friday from 09.15 am to 1 pm and from 2 to 6 pm.

-  Are there other places offering the same care as the Minkowska Center ?

Yes, but the Minkowska Center is the only structure funded by the State that offers a medical, psychological and social care strategy while covering many geo-cultural areas.

-  How do I register to the training sessions ?

Pre-applications are taken over the phone. The registration is confirmed by mail.

-  Who may participate to the training sessions, encounters and conferences ?

Professionals in health (psychiatrists, general practitioners, psychologists, social workers, educators and magistrates) interested in transcultural questions and the issues of migrant populations.
