Volume II of this work is the complement to Volume I. The first volume analyzes the national health systems of countries of three economic levels : (1) with gross national product (GNP) per capita of $5,000 or more around 1985 — designated as industrialized countries ; (2) with GNP per capita of $500 to $5,000designated as transitional ; and (3) with GNP per capita of less than $500 — designated as very poor.
